🎓Congratulations to our Senior Class of 2025 Graduates!🎓
ENCSD is ready for graduation! Are you?
Yesterday our Seniors received awards for their outstanding work and participation, They also received some gag gifts and awards.
Yesterday our students had a field day. Though the weather was not cooperative for outdoor fun the students enjoyed indoor activities such as blind volleyball.
We had our Yearbook Dedication this morning. Hieu and Sharnese hosted the event as Masters of Ceremony and Ridley ran the slides as Technical Commander. The theme for the Yearbook this year is "258" which, in ASL, is slang for "very interesting". The yearbook was dedicated to Sheila James this morning, for her tireless commitment and 30+ years of service. The students put on a skit for her and she received flowers and a gift from the students.
ASL for Beginnersclasses will begin again on Tuesday June 3rd and run every Tuesday until June 24th. Classes will take place on the ENCSD campus, in Massey Activity Hall, at the Hornet's nest.

ENCSD and NCSD came together this past weekend for the first ever Carolina Cheer Camp for the Deaf! Students worked together to improve their teamwork, stunts, gymnastics, cheer movements, and dance skills!! We are so proud of all of our students, they demonstrated what it means to be a representative of the schools for the deaf here in North Carolina.
