The Library/ Media Center serves as a central area holding over 44,000 books and resources for the K-12 program. We have a collection of
nonfiction books, biographies, short stories, reference materials, and a Deaf Studies section.
The Library offers access to various technological equipment and
software that is available for students and staff assignments and research projects.
Library and information skills classes are provided once a week for 45
minutes for students in grade K-5. The Librarian also conducts story telling for other classes each week. She also collaborates with teachers and their classes to incorporate library and information skills with the teachers’
lessons.
We are very proud of the services and resources that we have to offer for the students and staff of ENCSD. We look forward to continuing working towards our goal in providing students information skills instruction and resources to become productive and informed literate citizens for our future. |
